Linda Blevins, Chairman of the Board for Beacon Federal Credit Union, lives in Baytown. She retired from Dupont where she specialized in corporate training after 28 years of service.
Linda stays active in the community. She is a member of the Baytown Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and serves on the Board of the Baytown Crime Stoppers. She is a charter member of St. John's, The Evangelist Church. Linda also works part time in telecommunications at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.
Linda has stated that the Board's responsibility is to ensure the financial stability of the credit union while keeping the best interest and services for the members in mind. Beacon Federal Credit Union's mission statement is Members First, which Linda says really sums it up.
Linda and her husband William have two children and three granddaughters. They enjoy traveling and playing golf.
